1. What Are Cookies

Cookies are small text files placed on your device — computer, tablet, or mobile — when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work efficiently, remember your preferences, and provide information to site owners.

Cookies are not programs and cannot carry viruses or malware. They cannot access other files on your device or execute code.

In addition to cookies, we may use similar tracking technologies:

  • Local Storage & Session Storage — browser-based storage that holds data locally on your device for the duration of a session or longer. Used for performance optimisation and maintaining UI state.
  • Pixels & Web Beacons — tiny invisible images embedded in pages or emails that help us understand whether content was viewed or an action was taken.
  • Device Fingerprinting — a combination of browser and device attributes (screen size, language, timezone) used for fraud detection and security purposes only. We do not use fingerprinting for advertising.

2. Why We Use Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies to:

  • Keep you securely logged in as you navigate the Platform
  • Remember your preferences and settings across sessions
  • Protect the Platform against fraud, bots, and unauthorised access
  • Understand how users interact with the Platform so we can improve it
  • Measure the effectiveness of our communications and features
  • Enable core platform functionality that cannot work without them

We do not use cookies to:

  • Build advertising profiles for sale to third parties
  • Track your activity across unrelated third-party websites for advertising purposes
  • Serve behavioural advertising on external platforms

3. Types of Cookies We Use

We categorise our cookies into four types. Below is a full inventory of the cookies currently in use.

Persistent cookies are automatically deleted at the end of their stated duration. You may also delete them manually at any time (see Section 6).

When you first visit the Platform, a cookie consent banner will allow you to accept all cookies, reject non-essential cookies, or customise your preferences by category. You can revisit and update your preferences at any time through:

Account Settings → Privacy → Cookie Preferences

Changes take effect immediately. Disabling a cookie category will delete any existing cookies in that category from your browser.

6.2 Browser Settings

All major browsers allow you to control cookies through their settings. The links below take you to the cookie management instructions for the most common browsers:

Please note: Blocking essential cookies through browser settings will prevent you from logging in or using core platform features. We recommend using the in-platform Cookie Preference Centre to manage non-essential cookies without affecting your session.

6.3 Opt-Out of Google Analytics

If you have consented to analytics cookies and wish to specifically opt out of Google Analytics tracking, you can install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6.4 Mobile Devices

On mobile devices, you can control tracking through your device settings:

  • iOS: Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking
  • Android: Settings → Privacy → Ads → Opt out of Ads Personalisation

7. Do Not Track Signals

Some browsers offer a “Do Not Track” (DNT) setting that sends a signal to websites requesting that your activity not be tracked. Currently there is no universal standard for how websites should respond to DNT signals.

Creators Market does not currently respond to DNT signals from browsers. However, you can manage your tracking preferences directly through our Cookie Preference Centre, which gives you granular control over all non-essential tracking on the Platform.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Cookie Policy from time to time as our technology, third-party providers, or applicable regulations change. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Post the updated policy at creators-market.xyz/cookies
  • Update the Effective Date at the top of this document
  • Notify registered users via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before changes take effect
  • Re-display the cookie consent banner where changes affect how we use your data

We recommend reviewing this policy periodically. Continued use of the Platform after the effective date constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
